Beslenme tavsiyesi
- Provide sufficient high-quality browse (branches with leaves), such as willow, aspen, rowan, and birch. Preferably fresh.
- Feed daily as needed with reindeer pellets (if necessary, unlimited), depending on body condition, the season, and the rest of the diet.
- Supplement the ration during the summer and winter seasons as needed with additional available feed materials. Contact us for personalized advice.
- Provide limited amounts of fine, leafy hay (2nd or 3rd cut).
- If possible, before feeding the pellets, give an amount of reindeer lichen (lichen), soak briefly in water and drain before use.
- Ensure a gradual transition between summer and winter diet over approximately 2-3 weeks.
- Always ensure sufficient fresh drinking water.
