show pigeons (breeding and showing)

Every breeder really wants his/her pigeons to be in prime condition for the shows: each is committed to strong, glowing animals, with sleek plumage. Their shape, type, colour and feather structure, in short, everything, is measured against the breed’s standards. Shining at the show begins, obviously, with a good pigeon fancier, who provides good accommodation and care, and, of course, suitable feed. Whoever wants good breeding or show results will, therefore, often choose a specialized mixture. Garvo has developed two high-quality lines for the best hatching and showing results:

the 900-series consists of five complete feeds, each for different breeds. Within each are the necessary vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids, assimilated into a tasty feed concentrate pellet. Supplementing is only necessary during the breeding season.
the 800-series consists of four very rich, complementary corn and seed mixtures (without concentrate pellet). This series is also meant for different breeds. These mixtures can be supplemented as needed with 9508 garvocyme, 9518 garvocalcium, 9521 garvo intestine improver, 3862 solution 2, 3864 solution or 3865 solution junior.

make sure there’s always 5512 mixed pigeon grit 5 (with aniseed) on the loft
give as needed 9508 garvocyme, 3862 solution 2 or 3864 solution (with exception of the 900-series)
give under specific conditions 9521 garvo intestine improver
give during the breeding season: extra 5512 mixed pigeon grit 5 (with aniseed) , extra calcium/proteins in the form of, for example, 9518 garvocalcium 1x per 2 days (the rest of the year 1x per week), a handful of 3865 solution junior onto 1 kg feed made moist with some linseed oil
give fresh water daily
